Secure Mobile Voice Encryption Software - Starter - Android Version

The Secure Mobile Starter Package is a mobile security application and service that provides encrypted voice communications.  It uses a FIPS 140-2 Level 1 approved encryption and authentication for your Andriod smartphone. With this software, no intruder can listen or record your phone calls with colleagues, family, and partners. The conversation is secured with industry standard AES 256-bit encryption with five factors of authentication.

This solution uses a different approach to security.  Most of the world relies on servers to provide their security – the authentication and encryption.   We have moved beyond this 1990s mindset and have taken a new and patented approach.  Our cellular security applications provide inherent end-to-end encryption.  We don’t need expensive servers, which are a target of the majority of malware attacks and accessible by internal personnel with complete access to all data.  This approach requires no security servers, networks, or personnel to maintain security.

To begin a secure session you simply select a person from the contact list book and press the call button. It's that simple!  The software is engineered to the highest standards to deliver high quality voice with ultra-low latency allowing conversations to feel and sound natural unlike other solutions which generate tremendous jitter and robotic sounding conversations.

For experienced users and enterprises you can use this software to connect to your SIP system for regular conversations which allows you to extend your VoiP PBX capabilites to your smartphone.

Security Specifications

• FIPS-197 compatible AES 256 bit encryption.
• Five (5) factors of authentication.
• End-to-end voice encryption – no centralized servers encounter or store the audio.
• Automated Encryption – each communications session utilizes a unique encryption key.
• Complete encryption – encrypts the communication stream from the very first packet of audio.
• Obfuscation - The application obfuscates the encryption key from the communication streams. This negates any ability to attack the communication by searching for an AES seed.

Strong session authentication

• Session initiation completed with the validation of a Diffie-Hellman key exchange..
• Application generated keys are generated in the application, not a server.
• Kryptofon obfuscates encrypted RTP (secured audio) content further by modifying the header in such a way that the packet is no longer understood to be a RTP packet, or even a UDPpacket.
• Obfuscated packets allows for simple and cost effective use of open networks (e.g. the internet) for secured communications. 

Strong application authentication

• The secure mobile application is dedicated to execute only on the hardware it was initially installed. A copied application to other hardware will not execute.
• Validates license information each time it starts. If invalid it will not execute.
• The software always checks for an updated version of the program each time it starts. If an update is available, it automatically updates itself and the login process restarts.
• If device using ParleySec is lost or is stolen we have the ability to disable it immediately.
• Between users application instances the control and signaling information and communications are uniquely encrypted.

Requirements

Mobile service requirements:

1. Usage of GSM 3G/4G/LTE Data preferable, CDMA or Wi-Fi

2. Use unlimited data plan preferable but not required.

Below is a typical checklist prior to usage within your LAN or Corportate Wi-Fi networks.

1. Allow TCP and UDP, SIP and RTP, and have port 5060 open.

2. The security software requires a UDP connection on several ports in the 4000 to 6000 range, as well as a TCP connection on ports 80 and 443.
